VIPLO, its history....
Created (by Euréka BSD) in the 90s, the FT50 altimeter immediately enjoyed dazzling success in the world of skydiving.
Taken over in 2004 by Stéphane VOLPI (and yes, VIPLO owes its name to him!), it was quickly followed by the FT60, very popular with high altitude jumpers, the FT70 with an international dial (feet AND meters), then the V10 series specially released at the occasion of VIPLO’s 10th anniversary.
In 2023 Delphine and Jean-Pedro (instructor and rigger since 1990) take up the challenge of the 100% French altimeter Company : Viplo. Trained by a team of experts, they take over keeping the same manufacturing process and keeping up the after-sales standards.
